Johnder Perez over at webhostb2b.com explains what CPC (Cost Per Click) means.
WHAT IS CPC
CPC is the infamous cost-per-click model that has been embraced by many publishers on the internet today. What does this mean to the online marketer? Basically, what you are paying for when you launch a CPC campaign is the click-through rate, so you are paying every time someone clicks your ad and lands on your web site. To clear up any confusion, this term is somewhat similar to PPC, which stands for pay-per-click. To distinguish the two, consider the former as a measure of the cost of a per-click campaign, and the latter as the actual payment based on click-through.
