My favourite Mobile Phone/Devices magazine launched it's blog just last month. Using TypePad, I get the impression that they're just dabbling with blogging.
Being a real world publication, I imaging that they're trying to find the balance between free internet articles and magazine sales/subscriptions.
I'm also a little surpised to find them using a sub-domain of typepad.co.uk instead of using TypePad's domain mapping feature that would have their blog using a sub-domain of their own domain. They're using mobilechoice.typepad.co.uk/blog/ instead of blog.mobilechoiceuk.com
Regular readers will know that my No 1 blogging tip is to use your own domain name.

I certanly agree that you should use your own domain name. I also like blogging about mobile gadgets nice to know some other blogs as an example.
